The most prevalent religion in the world today is neither Christianity or Islam, but narcissism. Every adherent to the faith belongs to a congregation of one. Narcissism is not exclusive to secularism. It is prevalent in false religion, where it masquerades as an exalted servant who represents the highest power.
Narcissism has many faces. It binds together those whose ideologies diametrically oppose each otherβusually by the glue of a mutual hatred of othersβbut it is not a permanent adhesive. Marxism and Islam’s cohabitation, for exampleβa marriage of convenience between strange bedfellowsβare destined for a fatal divorce.
Narcissism is the religion of “I am always right.β Anyone who says otherwise may be tolerated, but only if they can be used to achieve the narcissistβs agenda. They do not intend to accept nonconforming ideas long-term but to eventually reform or phase out any dissent altogether. They are absolutists who demand ideological purity. Regardless of whether narcissists wear their narcissism as a crown or attempt to hide it by parading themselves as the most virtuous of menβaccepting the most degenerateβviolence is at the core of them, even if they seek peaceful means to bring about their destruction of others.
Narcissists are not to be questioned; in their minds all things are settled. They are always ready to give an answer but not to hear one. Any objection to their beliefs is held in contempt. They are a religion to themselves: gods, the sole arbiters of the truth.
Nonconformity to their ideas makes one an infidel; questioning their authority is a sin, and disputation is blasphemy.
The gods of narcissism are gods before whom, should you ever run afoul, you must forever repent, but you can never be forgiven. You are required to atone for your sins perpetually; they can never be fully paid off.
Luciferβs rebellion displayed the epitome of narcissism: pride, selfishness, and rebellion. It earned him the name Satan. To the contrary, Jesus Christ came humble and selfless and, by obedience, in doing so, defeated Satan with truth and goodness.
As the Kingdom of Heaven is within, so also, the Kingdom of Hell is in those who reject God. Those who reject God are given over to narcissism or become ruled by those who are.
Jesus said, βWhen you know the truth, the truth will set you free.β Christ came to break the chains of narcissismβthe obsession of mortals to be gods. To be as gods was the temptation employed to entice Eve when she was told, βYou shall be as gods.β
The result was not what she expected; Psalm 82:6-7 tells us, βI have said, Ye are gods, and all of you are children of the Most High, but ye shall die like men.β
Narcissism is merely another name for Luciferianism, The persona of Christ is the opposite of narcissism. He alone can set us free from such death through the humility he suffered on the cross.
