When an individual, a nation, or the whole world becomes so far removed from God that redemption and healing are no longer possible, destruction follows. The purge of the wicked from the earth in the days of Noah and the destruction of Sodom and Gomorrah are examples to the world.
When the iniquity of Egypt was full, it was destroyed; it has never been, nor will it ever again be restored to its former glory as the worldβs predominant power. The kingdoms of the Canaanites, the Assyrians, and the Babylonians have all vanished, and the House of Israel and Judah were slain and scattered out from their lands; only the Judean captivity was allowed to return.
Evil men are the sword of God. In His judgment, He raised the Assyrians, Babylonians, and Romans to destroy ungodly nations. He also destroyed them after His wrath was accomplished. Where are the ruthless, ungodly nations of ancient times that once ruled the world?
God removes nations and raises others in their place. The nations today that have turned from God risk the same fate. If God spared not His own chosen people, what will be the fate of others who consistently cast Him off?
The United States of America was a nation founded by people of faith after many had fled Europe to live according to their beliefs. As the abominable nations of Canaan were removed to make room for Israel to take possession, the idol worshipers native to the Americas were also cut off or diminished, and others were given possession of the land. Their wickedness had come to its fullness.
As with conquests of the past, the righteousness of the conquerors was irrelevant. When it was determined by God that iniquity had reached its terminus, the natives of the land were dispossessed. The wicked blame those whom God sent, failing to consider that their conquest was appointed by Him. Colonization comes as judgment. Regardless of whether the colonizers are just or wicked men, they are the sword of God.
Despite imperfections, America became an international hub for Christianity. Missionaries have gone throughout the whole world for decades spreading the gospel of Jesus Christβof whom now we see the fruit of their work around the globe. God is now weighing the nations in the balance, and the handwriting is on the wall.
Jesus said there were two great commandments: first, above all, to love God with the whole heart, and second, to love your neighbor as yourselfβall of the law and the prophets are fulfilled in these two.
The LORD hates evil; as the all-powerful Guardian of Love, He will find out all evil and destroy it at the appointed time. God is the Defender of Eternity. God will not allow sin in his kingdom to corrupt it as it has the world. Sin has destroyed the world; the horrible things in this temporal realm manifest all evil so that it might be destroyed forever.
All things that take place are in preparation for the Final JudgmentβLight is divided from DarknessβDarkness is destroyed with eternal destruction.
On that great day, love is made perfect, and the love of God will be made known by the redemption of His people and by His eternal wrath and judgment on the wicked.
The Lord will not allow evil to perpetuate itself eternally on earth or in heaven; it will be utterly destroyed along with all those who embrace it.
There will be judgment without mercy on those who have shown no mercy, and mercy rejoices against judgment, but there is a point of no return.
God’s eternal plan is perfection. In His love for perfection, righteousness, and holiness, and for the sake of love itself, He will forever destroy all wickedness. No sin will enter His Kingdom to defile Eternity. He sent His only begotten Son, who shed His blood for the forgiveness of our sins, so that whoever calls upon His name might be saved. The appointed time for the judgment is near; make ready all things for the wedding.
βBlessed are they that do his commandments, that they may have right to the tree of life, and may enter in through the gates into the city. For without are dogs, and sorcerers, and whoremongers, and murderers, and idolaters, and whosoever loveth and maketh a lie.β (Revelation 22:14-15)
