When an individual, a nation, or the whole world becomes so far removed from God that redemption and healing are no longer options, destruction follows. The purge of the wicked from the earth in the days of Noah is one example among many.
When the iniquity of Egypt was full, it was destroyed; it has never been, nor will it ever again be, restored to its former glory as the worldβs predominant empire. The kingdoms of the Canaanites, the Assyrians, and the Babylonians have all vanished. The Houses of Israel and Judah were also slain, and the remainder removed from their lands. The tribes removed by the Assyrians never regained their inheritances; only the Judean captivity was allowed to return.
Evil men are the sword of God. In His judgment, He raised the Assyrians, Babylonians, and Romans to destroy ungodly nations. When His wrath was accomplished, He also destroyed them. And where are the ruthless, ungodly nations of ancient times that once ruled the world?
God removes nations and raises others in their place. The nations today have turned from God; they risk the same fate. If God spared not His own people, what will be the fate of others who have consistently cast Him off?
The United States of America was a nation founded by people of faith who fled Europe to live according to their belief in God. As the abominable Canaanites were removed to make room for Israel to take possession, the idol worshipers native to the Americas were cut off or diminished, and others were given possession of the land.
As with conquests of the past, the righteousness of the conquerors was irrelevant. When it was determined by God that iniquity had reached its terminus, the natives of the land were dispossessed. Still, the wicked blame those whom God sent, failing to consider that their actions were appointed by the Lord. Colonization is the judgment of God regardless of whether the colonizers are just men or not.
Despite imperfections, America became an international hub for Christianity. Missionaries have gone throughout the whole world for decades spreading the gospel of Jesus Christβof whom now we see the fruit of their work around the globe. Nonetheless, the nations are being weighed in the balance; the handwriting is on the wall.
Jesus gave humanity two great commandments: first, above all, to love God with the whole heart, and second, to love your neighbor as yourself. All the commandments are fulfilled in these two.
The LORD hates evil; as the all-powerful Guardian of Love, he will seek out and destroy all evil at the appointed time. He is the defender of Eternity. Sin has destroyed the world; the horrible things the Lord has allowed in this temporal realm make evil manifest that it might be destroyed forever. He will not allow sin in his kingdom to corrupt it.
Everything that takes place is preplanned in preparation for the Final JudgmentβLight is divided from DarknessβDarkness is destroyed with eternal destruction.
On that day, love is made perfect. The love of God will be made known by the redemption of His people and by His wrath and judgment on the wicked.
The Lord will not allow evil to perpetuate itself eternally; it will be utterly destroyed with all those who refused to repent. There is a point of no return. He shall have judgment without mercy, that has shewed no mercy; and mercy rejoices against judgment.
God’s plan for eternity is perfection; in his love for perfection, righteousness, and holiness, and for the sake of love itself, He will forever destroy all wickedness. No sin will enter His Kingdom to defile Eternity. He sent His only begotten Son, who shed His blood for the forgiveness of our sins, so that whoever calls upon His name might be saved. The appointed time for the judgment is near; make ready all things for the wedding.
βBlessed are they that do his commandments, that they may have right to the tree of life, and may enter in through the gates into the city. For without are dogs, and sorcerers, and whoremongers, and murderers, and idolaters, and whosoever loveth and maketh a lie.β (Revelation 22:14-15)
