Ever since God scattered the people abroad at Babel, Satan has worked feverishly to gather the whole world back under his rule, as it was when all of the earth was one people. History bears witness to the same spirit constantly being revived and working through the most powerful dictators, kings, and nations to subdue, consolidate, and rule over the whole world. It is always presented as a noble aspiration for the benefit of civilization.

The spirit of Satan and his armies of devils moves through each generation seeking to establish Satan as God in man and over mankind. Satan knows that this can only happen if mankind completely succumbs to a beastly nature. The Spirit of God is an impenetrable barrier he cannot break. Thus, he attacks the weaknesses of mankind.

The Bible states unequivocally that we are beasts. In Ecclesiastes, King Solomon stated that concerning the estate of the sons of men, that God might manifest them and that they might see that they themselves are beasts (Ecclesiastes 3:18).

Modern technologies and advancements will not benefit humanity if mankind is a beast at heart; they will assist in the deprivation of the soul and destruction of civilization.

When mankind is given over to the beast, all knowledge and the power of the intellect, as well as any modern advancements, will be used to serve the beast, and the sole nature of a beast is to devour. “Arise and devour much flesh!” (Daniel 7:5).

Revelation 13 says the Beast will make war with the saints and overcome them, and he will have power over all people, tongues, and nations.

Chapter 2 of Daniel speaks of this kingdom that subdues all nations. Having feet made partly of iron mixed with miry clay, the kingdom is partly strong and partly weak. They mingle themselves with the seed of men, but they do not cleave to each other, even as iron is not mixed with clay.

“Mingle themselves with the seed of men”—mixing nations into a multicultural one-world state consisting of incompatible cultures—is akin to forging iron mixed with clay. Daniel chapter 2 prophesies that the attempt to consolidate all the different cultures and people fails because they lack cohesion and do not adhere to one another.

Erasing borders and mingling conflicting cultures through craft is an attempt to undo what God did at Babel when he divided the nations. Satan is using his agents in power on earth in an attempt to resurrect a Neo Babel under the authority of a technologically controlled one-world system. The world they imagine to rule will crumble in pieces like iron mixed with clay. Chaos and destruction will ensue on a global scale.

Most of those who hold the majority of power and influence in the world today are united in working toward the establishment of a central global authority. They despise freedom and the rights of individuals, seeing them as barriers to a collective society. They seek to erase the reality of God from modern civilization so that they may sit in His place to make themselves like unto Him. Spiritually, it is the attempted assassination of God. Thus, they will seek the extermination of His people.

Christ came to destroy sin in the flesh so that the soul might live. The Antichrist is Satan’s answer to Christ. He comes to destroy the soul so that the flesh may live as a beast—mankind void of God to the absolute.
